Jim Cunningham, PT
Jim is a certified Mind Body Physical Therapist specializing
in trauma and stress release. His deep commitment
to personal authenticity and spiritual practice brings
to our Advisory Board a wider appreciation of the
many inter-related facets of a well-being lifestyle.
Elson M. Haas, MD
Has been in medical practice more
than 30 years and is a recognized pioneer in
the field of Integrated Medicine. He is
the founder and director of the Preventive
Medical Center of Marin, in San Rafael,
CA, where he specializes in Family and
Nutritional Medicine as well as detoxification
therapy. Dr. Haas lectures widely and is
the author of many top selling books including
The New Detox Diet, Staying Healthy with
Nutrition, The False Fat Diet, Staying
Healthy with the Seasons, and others. For

Doug Johnston, MD
A practicing physician for over 20 years and formerly
Chief of Staff at Sierra Nevada Hospital in Grass
Valley, CA. Today his areas of interest include
sports medicine and exercise physiology; and the
relationship between stress and illness.
Richard McCutchan, PhD, MFT
With a doctorate in Depth Psychology, Rich provides
training for MFT interns and brings a broad-based
understanding of group process to the Advisory
Board.
Will Mora, MD
Board-certified practicing physician in family and
sports medicine and medical acupuncture. Special
focus areas include: nutritional medicine, exercise,
healthy aging, chronic fatigue, weight management,
insulin resistance, hypertension, high cholesterol,
sinusitis, and allergies.
David Palley, JD
David is a graduate of both Harvard and U.C. Berkeley.
He also came close to completing a PhD in education
at U.C. Berkeley. David specializes in corporate,
commercial and trademark law. He was a founding
Director of the non-profit Nevada County Land Trust,
and is currently on the Board of Directors for
Common Ground, a non-profit organization providing
low-cost housing opportunities in northern California.
Cathy Rasmusson, MHA
Cathy was formerly Area Health Promotion Specialist
for the California Diabetes Control Program, Corporate
Wellness Coordinator for the American Heart Association,
and is past-President of the California Wellness
Information Network (CAL-WIN) that represents 90
wellness-oriented companies and government agencies
in Sacramento.
Michael Ruggles
Michael has a 30-year background in both the finance
and health care industries. For the past seven
years he has been President of Kair Marketing Group,
Inc., a company marketing complimentary and ancillary
health care services via the Internet.
Dean Shrock, PhD
Lecturer and author of Doctor's Orders: Go Fishing,
which details his experience and research as Director
of Mind Body Medicine for 40 cancer centers. Bernie
Siegel, MD has applauded his book and Larry Dossey,
MD, says Dean's research "deserves the widest
audience possible."
Debbie Wagner, RN, CLC
Debbie is a Certified Lifestyle Counselor and is
founding Director of the Wellness Center at Sierra
Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, CA. She
is also the service leader for Blue Cross Preventive
Care Screening Clinics, as well as Occupational
Health Services at the hospital.
